The crocus are making their way despite cold temperatures and ice. Today it's raining, icing and snowing. Yet another day where we wonder if spring will in fact make an appearance.
I'm sure if I had been better about my fall gardening, these would have had a much better shot at coming up sooner. They have actually gotten much prettier since I took these pictures. Today's snow and ice may affect them I'm afraid. I guess time will tell.
Some of you may remember my facebook post of Finnian, my puppy, last fall. He was a tiny and very cute little guy experiencing frosty grass for the first time. Well over the winter he has grown a lot! See my tiny puppy below.
April has been unlike any I can remember in recent years. It's kind of unusual to see this kind of early April morning when getting ready to serve bed and breakfast guest their breakfast.
The last thing I really want to share with you today is yet another photo of Finnian. This one was taken after he had his first bout of digging in the dirt for the first time. Obviously, play pen time was in order here. It took quite a while to get him all cleaned up and even more time for him to dry out.
I know he had a really good time as you can see by the look on his face! Getting him cleaned up and getting rid of all the mud was another story all together! Finnian is a lot of fun and he's a very happy boy!!
